Services

Cotgrave Methodist Church is a blend of contemporary and traditional styles. We want to offer the best to God and we aim to be a fellowship which welcomes and supports everyone. We sing modern songs with the worship team and the more traditional hymns with the organ. We use a big screen to project all song words as well as images to focus our worship, we offer hymn books for those who want to use them. We believe in biblical preaching and fresh expressions of our devotion to God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Worship is led by our minister, local preachers, musicians and worship leaders. Sunday morning worship starts at 10:30am and lasts about an hour, beginning with a time of celebration as we join in all age praise, with screens to display all song words as well as images & videos to focus our worship. BreakFast with God (BFG)

Every Sunday morning at 9:30am we invite our young people to breakfast with a difference. After filling their bellies with breakfast they fill their minds and hearts on the ways of Jesus. This is a time of relaxed fellowship and teaching on the passage for the days sermon. It gives a chance to ask questions and discuss what the scripture means for them as young people and how it can help them lead their lives in a Christian way.

Junior Church

We have an active junior church wich runs every week except once a month where we all join together for a family worship service.

Junior Church is for all children from toddler to 11 yr olds. They look at a bible story that is relevant for their age and ability, using craft resources to express their ideas and feelings. A group that is enjoyed by both child and teacher.
